The Greater Lehigh Valley REALTORS® is pleased to report that on July 31, 2025, Judge Joseph F. Leeson of the U.S. Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania dismissed, with prejudice, all claims brought by a former member against GLVR, PAR, NAR, staff members Justin Porembo and Allyson Lysaght, and multiple GLVR committee members.

Originally filed in October 2024, the suit alleged various claims of discrimination and antitrust violations. In his 50-page opinion, Judge Leeson found that the plaintiff “does not allege the existence of any direct evidence of intentional discrimination” and “failed to sufficiently allege that the membership requirement to access the MLS imposed an unreasonable restraint on trade.”

This marks the third federal court ruling in a single week affirming that MLS membership requirements are legal and do not constitute monopolization of the real estate industry.
