The Greater Lehigh Valley REALTORS® (GLVR) is a trade association that represents over 3,000 real estate professionals throughout Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon counties.
REALTORS® are distinguished from real estate licensees by subscribing to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
GLVR is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and managed by an appointed Chief Executive Officer. GLVR provides professional development and training resources, competitive market information, legislative advocacy, a peer review and mediation process for members, and a dispute resolution service for consumers. GLVR owns and operates the Greater Lehigh Valley Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and the Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy, which offers continuing education, pre-licensing, and Broker courses.
Our History
The Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS® (LVAR) was established in 1996 by the merger of the former Allentown-Lehigh County Association, Bethlehem Association and Eastern Northampton County Association of REALTORS®.
In 2014, the Greater Lehigh Valley REALTORS® (GLVR) was established by the merger of the now-former Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS® (LVAR) and Carbon County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR).
