U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie met with members of the Greater Lehigh Valley REALTORS® last week to discuss Federal housing legislation, including the One Big Beautiful Bill, and to hear directly from REALTORS® about the challenges facing today’s housing market.

GLVR assembled a diverse group of members for the conversation — Republicans, Democrats, and Independents — with representation from across the association’s footprint.

The Congressman requested the discussion, recognizing that REALTORS® have a strong pulse on the realities of the housing market. Members shared their perspectives on unlocking inventory, navigating the patchwork of municipal regulations, challenges within the appraisal industry, the unpredictability of homeowners insurance, and more.
