So, you’re a REALTOR® and you want to start a blog. Not just any blog, though. You’re not interested in posting your latest gluten-free recipes or writing about how to visit Amsterdam on a budget. No, you want to blog about your business and about being a REALTOR®. Not only that – you want to create a real estate-related blog that stands out.

A blog is defined as a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style. So, by definition, the very first thing you have to consider when deciding to launch a blog is whether you possess the dedication, motivation and time. Will you only be consistent for the first week or two of publishing the blog? Are you likely to fall off the grid and sporadically post whenever you feel like it?

Dig deep and consider your habits and motivation. If you think you’ll be a consistent blogger, then go for it. If not, perhaps blogging isn’t for you. You know yourself best, so be sure to consider the need for follow-through before starting something that involves a lot of dedication.
