About the Greater Lehigh Valley

The Lehigh Valley is a metropolitan region officially consisting of Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties in eastern Pennsylvania and Warren county on the western edge of New Jersey.

The Lehigh Valley is the fastest growing and third most populous region in the state of Pennsylvania with a population of 821,623 residents as of the 2010 U.S. Census.

The growth of the Lehigh Valley can be attributed to its location. Served by Interestate 78, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Conrail and the Lehigh Valley International Airport, the region is within 500 miles of 40 percent of the U.S. population and 60 percent of Canada's population.
